We are opening our event hall: the historic Steiva Segantini is the ideal venue for all kinds of occasions and events. It can accommodate up to 45 people and is perfect for corporate events or family celebrations in a stylish atmosphere. Is the spirit of Giovanni Segantini still alive within these walls? "Non vado più oltre, resto qui!" – "Stop, I'm not going any further, I'm staying here!" It is said that Giovanni Segantini arrived in Savognin with his partner Bice Bugatti in 1886 with these words. The painter, who was already world-famous at the time, found everything he was looking for here: clear mountain air, bright light, and the simple but rich life of the people in the Alps.
The artist Giovanni Segantini lived in Savognin – now in the heart of Parc Ela – from 1886 to 1894. During this time, he created many of his great works, inspired by everyday rural life, nature, and the unique light conditions of the Surses valley.
We draw on this inspiration with STEIVA SEGANTINI – the newly renovated hall on the first floor of Tgesa Romana. A place that is more than just a room. A parlor, a living room, a "Steiva" – where people come together, share stories, and create memories. Anyone who takes a seat here is immersed in the tradition of this wonderful region. You sit with friends and family at the large table and feel a little like in the old days. Here, you not only share the large bowl of pizokels with your table neighbors, but also stories or a smile.
The food consists of the finest comfort dishes: either served directly at the table to share or at the buffet for self-service. You can also look forward to popular Graubünden specialties such as pizokels and soppa da giotta (barley soup).
Celebrate with family or friends at the popular pasta festival or the "Giro di Pizza": an event concept from Italy, where different pizzas are placed one after the other in the middle of the table. Everyone tries everything. Because sharing enjoyment is even more wonderful.
